Our Story
Cornerstone Contractor Consulting
Cornerstone Contractor Consulting was built to help contractors run companies—not jobs.
We understand the challenges of the trades because we have lived them.
Many contractors are skilled in their craft but struggle with the business side—missed calls, scheduling issues, administrative overload, customer service challenges, and limited time to focus on growth.
Our goal is simple:
Help contractors build stronger businesses through structure, support, and real-world systems.
From startup guidance and business setup to operations, customer service, growth strategy, and administrative support, we provide practical solutions designed around how contractors actually work.
We believe successful companies are built on strong foundations.

About the Founder
Noelle Darby
The founder of Cornerstone Contractor Consulting is a second-generation business owner in the skilled trades, raised in the Appalachian Mountains where hard work, self-reliance, and craftsmanship were a way of life. That environment created a deep respect for the trades and the people who build their careers with their hands.

Early on, she pursued business education through a vocational and technical program focused on business and entrepreneurship, building a foundation in organization, structure, and real-world business principles.
From there, she entered the trades directly—working hands-on alongside her husband to build a contracting business from the ground up. That experience provided firsthand understanding of what it truly takes to run a service-based business: managing jobs, customers, operations, and the constant pressure of keeping everything moving.
After building and operating that business, she was selected to participate in the prestigious SBA Thrive program, a nationally recognized initiative designed to help small businesses strengthen operations, systems, and long-term growth strategy.

She also holds multiple federal and state certifications, including SBE, MBE, DBE, SDB, WOSB, and WBE certifications, reflecting extensive experience within structured contracting environments and business compliance systems.

Mission
To help contractors build strong, reputable companies through practical systems, operational support, and real-world guidance—turning skilled trades professionals into confident business owners.
Vision
To redefine success in the skilled trades by building a future where every contractor has access to the systems, structure, and business foundation needed to grow beyond the job site.
We envision a trades industry where skilled professionals are no longer limited by lack of business knowledge, but are empowered to build structured, scalable companies that create stability, opportunity, and long-term freedom.
A future where craftsmanship is matched with strong business foundations—and contractors build businesses that last for generations, not just seasons.
